There are also lots of good food choices nearby, specially inside Hiroshima Station. There is also a Family Mart convenience store just outside the hotel. The room rates are very affordable. We booked 2 rooms, a double and a twin and paid approximately JPY20,000 total. The rooms are basic and small, common in most Japanese business hotels, but clean and functional. The beds and pillows are comfortable, too. Room air conditioning and wifi work well. The facilities are likewise basic and the included breakfast is an onigiri pack. Very close to the train station with ability to store the luggage. Close to food shops and walking distance to main attractions in Hiroshima. Staff was very friendly and professional. It was really quiet despite the close proximity of the train station.

Handy late booking, spurred by Typhoon shutting down trains. Staff very amenable and friendly. 30 second walk from train station is exceptionalcfor the price. Smoking room was very well fumigated; no smell of smoke.
